“Música da Ellie” tem aumento de 1000% nos plays no Spotify

Spotify divulgou informação bem interessante sobre "Through The Valley", cantada por Ashley Johnson, a Ellie do game The Last of Us

O Spotify divulgou que “Through the Valley”, canção que ficou famosa por ser quase um tema de Ellie em The Last of Us Part II e, consequentemente, na Temporada 2 da série que adapta os eventos do jogo para TV, teve aumento significativo no número de reproduções na plataforma nos últimos dias.

O motivo? Obviamente, o fato de ela ter sido tocada no final do Capítulo 2 da Season 2 do seriado – que tem justamente o nome de “Through the Valley”. A canção é reproduzida para encerrar o episódio, logo depois dos fatídicos e traumáticos eventos do encontro de Joel com Abby.

A canção é “Through the Valley”, música folk lançada por Shawn James em 2012, mas que ficou eternamente associada ao universo do jogo após ser usada no teaser de The Last of Us Part II, lançado em 2016. A versão usada no episódio, no entanto, traz uma voz que emociona duplamente: quem canta é Ashley Johnson, atriz que interpretou Ellie nos jogos e viveu a mãe da personagem na primeira temporada da série da HBO.
